Do you let other people (acquaintances or distant family) hold your baby? I was at a dinner and someone asked to hold my baby. I let them but felt a little weird about it. Unsure if it’s my anxiety or if others feel uncomfortable when other people hold their baby too?

Depends who it is. Distant family I would probably be fine with as long as they weren't intoxicated or something. A random acquaintance hell no lol

I struggle with this for sure.
I get very anxious and don’t want anyone else holding her. I get that sometimes they're trying to help, but I hate it when the baby begins to cry and they decide to walk around or away from me thinking it will make it better. I also gauge how comfortable my baby feels with the person.

yes! How comfortable my baby is with them is definitely a big factor.

If I don't want anyone holding my baby, I put her in the carrier and she's strapped to me or in the ring sling. But she's my second and totally ok with others holding her so depending on where I'm at and if I feel comfortable, sure I'll let them play pass the baby.

Yes I do, but I keep a close eye.
