Incision soreness

I’m 5 weeks postpartum and I haven’t had any issues or pain since the first 10 days or so. But just today I’ve started to have soreness around the incision and it became more sore after a light walk.
I will say that my LO did kick me once during a burp session but he’s not nearly strong enough to hurt me. Has anyone else experienced soreness after feeling fine for weeks?

Is it possible you pulled a muscle ?

I’m also 5 weeks postpartum and am experiencing the same type of soreness and pains now! I have a heating pad on currently. My gut tells me that I just overexerted myself and maybe did a bit more than my body was ready for.

With my first c-section I would have that sensation off and on for about7 months. The weather can affect me like that too. Remember you have nerves that might be coming back online as well as the muscles relearning what "normal" is.

Thanks so much for the insight. I have an acquaintance who had an infection weeks after her surgery and that story may have just scared me that something worse was happening.
I feel less sore after a heating pad and resting overnight.

@Kristian glad you're doing better. Remember you can ALWAYS ask your doctor or nurses if you still have these worries. They are an excellent resource and sometimes have some good tricks for getting comfortable
