Feeling sooo guilty 😓 and careless

This is the second time I drop the iphone on my baby’s small head while breastfeeding.
First time it was because I was feeling sleepy, so now whenever I feel like that I simply stop using it and put it apart but this time my phone just slipped from my hands. Omg the cry when my baby is in pain because of this stupidity of myself is so different from other crys and I feel so bad of using my phone just for scrolling.
Both times happened when baby was about to fall sleep 😔 I can’t imagine the impression and the pain … of being waked up like this.
I’m feeling like a very bad mom 😔😔😔 ..
I’m afraid that I’m causing some damage on this head .. baby is 11 months now .. 😣😣😣 may th is has happened to you ? Should I get baby tested ?

If you already know it's not a good thing, then try to separate yourself from the cellphone. It is not healthy either. Now is him being hit, but if you keep up paying more attention to your cellphone later...remember this: one thing kids never forget is if they were ignored by their parents. If you prioritize cellphone over moments with them, you'll miss a lot of things. Time goes by really fast. They will remember your priority was your cell phone and not them. Try to see this from baby's perspective where mom ignores and looks at a screen instead of giving them love and cuddles and attention.
Cellphone dependence is the same a screen dependence, it is not healthy. Try to limit your time at it and establish times for you screen-free and dedicated times. I am sure that will help out.

Guilty of this as well 🥴 both with my oldest and youngest. The oldest turned out alright so far although numerous bumps on the head (what do you expect with an almost three year old boy 🤷🏼‍♀️.)

You don’t need to get your baby tested and I’m sure you’re doing great. Don’t feel bad for taking some time to yourself when baby is sleeping or you are feeding him.

Sh!t happens, you obviously did not mean to harm your baby. Just be more careful however you can to avoid this in the future. There are awful parents out there that intentionally hurt their child, you had an accident, it's absolutely not the same thing. This is something you can tell them and laugh about in the years to come.

I fell off the stairs while holding my son when he was maybe 3 months old. Babies are surprisingly resilient.

You don't get much time to yourself so when you're up in the middle of the night it's ok to have your phone to reach our or even just doom scroll. I suggest getting a case that has a loop on the back for better grip
