I am a bigger person but healthy. All my prenatal lab work has came back normal. All my vitals are healthy too.
However because of my weight my OB is suggesting I begin taking a low dose of aspirin. I’m not sure how to feel about it. I expressed my concern and all she did was hand me a pamphlet and told me to think about it.
Has anyone been through this? How was it for you? Any suggestions as to how to proceed?

Same with me I have taken low dose aspirin starting at 12 weeks all of my pregnancies healthy babies no issues

I started taking it when I found out, I have family history of preeclampsia so hopefully the aspirin will help keep me from having issues and it was recommended by my gyno and my ob

I am currently taking low dose aspirin for the same reasoning.

I’ve been taking it due to having gestational hypertension and a twin pregnancy! It’s all risk vs benefit and in my case the benefit definitely outweighs any risk associated with taking it.

I was told to take it too, because of my age

My age, blood pressure, and because I had a leep procedure less than two years ago. It's way more benefits than risks for sure with taking the baby aspirin
