Birmingham housing

I have only used midland heart not had much luck. I am still on waiting list on Birmingham choice.. distressing so I had no choice but to private rent

Try Citizen Housing. They work in the Birmingham area but not sure if it’s only through the council xx

same here but not on waiting list on Birmingham choice as was rejected. I understand there’s probably a tonne more people in more dire need but equally don’t know how we’re going to afford to private rent. We have stripped back all our outgoings to the bare minimum and still can’t find the money

Honestly it’s tough. And now I had to rent . I have a lot outgoings not Evan able to save to Evan put a deposit towards a house.
It’s a real struggle especially when I have a young toddler.
I did contact my local councillor and see what support of available but I guess it’s all a long waiting game

You can apply for citizen property’s through zoopla i did and im in a citizen property you do have to be the first to email/ring them tho asoon as a citizen property comes up so set an alert x

Clarion housing advertise on rightmove, but every one I've seen so far has only been 1 bed. Always worth a look though because they may advertise a bigger place

Yes i set an alert with the filters eg: 2 bedroom property etc and then put citizen in the ‘keywords’ bit at the bottom and i used to get an email anytime they uploaded a property, they don’t show an image of the property but usually you can click on the maps bit and you get a street view so you can see sort of what your applying for, i was on the birmingham choice list for 3 years and i literally waited 2 months for a citizen property to pop up on zoopla x

isnt it just as expensive as private rent when you go through zoopla or rightmove?
