My partner and I have just tested positive for covid! We co sleep with our baby and I breastfeed - is there any guidance out there? Worried sick that little one (4 months) will get it which he probably will - anyone else’s little one had/got it?

My daughter had it. She got a temperature, but it was controlled with Calpol. She was fine though x

Babies and kids shown to cope very well with it and as your breastfeeding you will give baby your antibodies. Doing the world of good by breastfeeding. As your both positive baby has already been exposed so don’t worry. Just look after yourself and carry on mumming!

I’ve just had it and was able to isolate in the spare room for 2 days til test was clear and hubby looked after her. She has now got a cold but for now it doesn’t seem to be Covid.

My daughter had it at 14 weeks, she was absolutely fine - just a sniffly nose but did not give any Calpol, she recovered fine.
