Has anyone had issues with swollen hands, it’s mainly my right one that is so puffy and tight to move, occasionally my feet might be puffy, but majority of the time it’s just the right hand. Is this normal swelling, and when should you be concerned about it? Also finding it hard to get enough air in, I read this could ease when baby drops?

Definitely ring Triage to get checked out, as any signs of swelling can be linked to Preeclampsia, so better to be safe!

Yes for swelling in the hands for me! It was so bad for me that I developed mild trigger finger on the middle and had it operated to remove the tension on tendons during my first and this time the same but the other hand! Hopefully won’t need a surgery! Try using a wrist brace if you want less swelling or having your hand overworked!

Yes I went to hospital and was monitored for pre eclampsia.
So ring them ASAP.
I was sent home with medicine.
Mines my left though and left foot is like a balloon compared to my right. I had protein in my wee and a high blood pressure. X

Yes I had swelling in hands, feet, face and short of breath which lead to heart palpitations, dizziness and blurred vision. Definitely get checked by triage, it can be a sign of pre eclampsia and is often missed by midwives. I ended up being admitted with hypertension and baby was born via emergency cesarean 5 hours later X
