Hand sucking

My lo is 15 weeks old and he’s been hand sucking for the past 2 months. He now dribbles a lot and his gums are hard so I’m guessing my lo is… has your lo got hard gums and dribbling alot ?

I think it’s just because she has discover she has hands.

My LO went through that phase. Then she discovered her feet so she sucked on them all the time 😂

I wouldn't call it alot now all the time anyway. Haven't checked recently I will do when she wakes from her nap. Is hard gums an indicator as well then?

Babies naturally put their hands in their mouths. It's an infant reflex.

Give her a pacifier find one she likes

Not necessarily, my baby has found his hands since day 1. It’s like he is trying to comfort himself, if he is fed I usually offer him a pacifier when he does this and he settles right down.

It can be a sign of Teething, it can be because they're hungry , it can also just be because they've found their hands
