£400 is our maximum as we don't want to spend much on something like that. We have seen good deals on Amazon for around £250 - £300 on well-known, good quality brands but when saying this to some people they suggest we should spend up to £1k.
We just can't afford that right now with cost of living, no mat or pat pay and having just moved house and bought a car.
Surely the cheaper ones will be okay if we do enough research right? Has anyone else spent around £400 and been happy?

get 2nd hand ones on marketplace / vinted / gumtree xx
we did think that but heard second hand car seats aren't very safe

Mine was around £500. I don't think the price matters as long as you like it and it has what you need! I would have been happy to spend less if they had one I liked for less that would have been great..

Why does it matter what it costs? Buy the one that you think best suits your needs and budget. Who cares what other people have done! ☺️

just get a new and compatible car seat maybe?

I bought one for £200 from smyth toys and read the reviews and they seem fine to me. I can’t afford to spent loads either so I’ve been really wary on how much I spent on things but at the same time get all the essentials I need for baby

Try Ickle Bubba people seem to like it and it’s good price :

Also it’s not about anyone else . People are too quick to judge , do what is right for you and your circumstances ! Your baby will be loved and cared for no matter how much the pram is ! Hope you find something ❤️❤️

I got one from infababy it was £270 I think and good enough the only thing I would change is a bigger basket underneath ☺️

People will spend £1000+ and then get rid when the baby reaches 6m old.
Get the one you want.

We got an ickle bubba set with bouncer and travel cot from this site for £450 there's plenty of good sets from £150 on there.
You don't need to spend an arm and leg for a buggy £1000 is a lot of money for something that you're baby will eventually grow out of, get dirty or barely use
When I was looking at buggy I wanted a bugaboo at first but I couldn't justify spending that money on 1 travel set

Don’t listen to the ones saying “spend up to £1k”, you can definitely get a system that’s safe, fits your budget and comfortable for the baby

I bought mine 180 🙃 no shame at all at least it was NEW 😂

Kinderkraft not the best of course but it was on sale and its really worth the 180£ 😊😊 I rather buy new and cheaper then used ...because one of the most important is the buggy 😊

nothing wrong with that!
I’ve honeslty known so many mums who get rid of their super expensive fancy travel systems at 6-9m old when they get fed up of the giant size

try mamas and papas they have a reuse scheme fairly cheap within your budget but great quality all refurbished

I have iCandy (found an amazon clearance deal one day and got the twin peach for £600 new!). I think quality is important and especially the wheels as you don’t want to be struggling, but i’m not convinced you need to spend out so don’t be shamed by anyone!
