Baby seems congested. No fever. But when he cries, he snorts. I looked into his nose and there wasn’t much boogers but his nostrils looks smaller/swollen. He’s fussy and I know he’s uncomfortable. What can I give him to help him? 🥺 I’m freaking out because we have family in town and I keep thinking he’s going to get sick from them.

My baby is feeling the same way right now, I’ve been using saline spray in her nose and having the humidifier on near her to help with the congestion. I haven’t been able to find anything to give to babies under 4 months, but she loves to be walked around in her stroller so I’ve been doing that to get her to stop crying.

Saline spray n nasal vacuum aspirator is what we use. Babies who are 3 months can use olbas oil on tissue to decongest nose

I've loved the nose Frieda to clear out my babies nose - sometimes stuff still comes out even if I can't see it.

My babe is the same way right now. We’re using a humidifier when she sleeps to help. You can also use one of the nose suckers. Just keep checking for a fever as well. Apparently, stuffy noses can also come with teething (which my daughter is) so if your LO is drooling a lot or shows any other signs of teething, he may just be teething.
omg.. teething can happen this early? He is drooling and sucking on his hand a lot… 😳

Poor babe! Sound like me currently! The heat wave of 90+ degrees that dropped straight into 50's really is taking a toll on my sinuses.

Like what other mamas have said - humidifier and saline spray helps our girl! Sometimes we use the spray followed by the the frida baby snot sucker, other times we will just do the spray. And yeah, teething can definitely start this early. 99% sure our girl has started the teething process since she is drooling a lot, chewing on literally everything. Doesn't mean a tooth will pop up tomorrow though. The signs of teething can go on for several months before a tooth actually pops through!

My MIL warned me that teething can occur early because my husband and his brother started teething around 2 months of age (my boys are also showing some signs such as drooling and chewing on their hands), but she clarified they did not cut teeth until they were almost a year old.

Teething definitely can start this early. I can see a tooth under the surface of my babe right now. My dad apparently popped like 4 teeth by 5-6 months and my sisters and I all started teething early, too. If it is teething, then nothing to worry about!

Saline spray (just one squirt up each nostril), suction often, use a humidifier, and put a blanket under the mattress to elevate baby’s head to 45 degrees during sleep
