Being ill around baby

By little guy is 4 months on Tuesday and I’ve come down in a rough cold, I am the sole carer for my son as his dad is working away til mid November. I’m so scared about RSV and my baby getting sick but there’s no way I can stay at a distance to make sure he doesn’t catch it.

I'm really ill at the moment and breastfeeding but my LO hasn't caught it! I think it's the antibodies I'm producing lol

Probably 😅 I don’t breastfeed though 😂 I’m just gonna keep and eye on him for a next couple days, I was fine when I woke up but feel so rough now

I had this issue a few weeks ago and also bottle feed! I just took care not to kiss him but you can only do so much! He ended up coming down with my cold but has been okay. If your LO does get the cold I can recommend calpol saline nasal spray for blocked noses!!

Thankyou. Right now it’s just a cough for me, he’s had a couple coughs today but no more than usual x
