Aptamil,Cow&Gate or Little step by SMA ?

On a baby feeding workshop we did, the midwife said if we were choosing formula to not worry or go too expensive. Apparently they’re all really similar in ingredients and have to meet the same standards, etc.

Hi I’m going with SMA, my first two had cow and gate but both were premature we tried sma first for the first 8 weeks then moved to cow and gate it really helped bulk them up quickly. cow and gate or Sma are both easier to find in supermarkets in comparison to aptamil or others like kendamil or whatever it’s called

My midwife told me last week that Cow and Gate used to make SMA, or the other way around, and they all have to be made to the same high standards. We had already chosen Cow and Gate though if that helps :) For us it cheaper and more readily available in most supermarkets so that helped our decision xx

I had Cow & Gate with my first 2. If you look out in shops and the corner shops, it's the one that's always there and the cheapest. I wouldn't go for one that's only avaliable in some shops. I have heard that the baby milk Aldi sells is just as good x
