Silly question?

Hi ladies I feel a bit silly asking this question but I’m a first time mum and I won’t learn if I don’t ask! I have a doona which I use for very quick errands as I know you’re not meant to keep baby in it for too long. Baby has an appointment at the GP tomorrow for vaccinations and the GP is a 5-10 minute walk from where I live. I don’t have access to a car tomorrow so I’ll have to walk.

I don’t know how to dress baby? Can I put on a snowsuit on baby as it’s very cold and I don’t think layered clothing will do much for baby. I don’t wanna be judged, just looking for advice.

If you’re walking and not going in the car, a pram suit will be fine - I used to put my baby in one in the bassinet.

The only time you’re not supposed to put them in a snowsuit in the car seat is if you are driving.

Unless you’re planning to off road the buggy on the way to the doctors, you should be fine 😁

Just be mindful when you get in the doctors baby might get hot so you need to take off the snowsuit which can be a pain!

A long sleeve vest, jumper, coat and hat and a blanket should be okay in the buggy so you can take layers off once inside? But up to you xx
