Heating?

Have people started putting their radiators on? I want to put them on but husband thinks we should wait until November 🄶

We've had electric heaters on in rooms we're most until now and started heating using radiators just today x

I have put on mine as it’s getting cold inside now. If it’s cold inside yes you should put it on, why wait for November?

We have single glazed windows… it’s absolutely freezing in the house so yes we had to put heating on … quite worried for winter

I didn’t intend to but last night I put it on for the first time as I was absolutely freezing

Bear in mind my house is really warm inside without heating, so usually manages well

dread to think how I’ll cope the gas and electric goes so fast every 2-3 days I’m topping up… and that was without using any heating

Yep put it on today. It was frosty out this morning!

I’ve started putting them on in mornings and evenings

I've recently put my heating on so do what's right for you

Yes!! My house is on a corner and fully open to the elements. It’s gets so cold!! I had my baby in august and even had to put it on a couple of days then 😬 I’m normally a ā€œstrictly not until Octoberā€ household but if I’m feeling the cold I’m sure my little tiny baby is too!

Nope, I've still not even put my quilt back on my bed. Sleeping with quilt cover as I'm still hot at night. I am in a new build tho, so contains heat well.

No. I did close my sons bedroom window last night and today found my jumper. Maybe when I start wearing my coat outside as still in my hoodie.

I would use blankets, a hot water bottle and wear cosy socks and even a scarf indoors :) try to keep the costs down x

I put it off as long as possible, I layer up until I put the heating on. It cost so much to run 😭
