Was great for mine as our house gets freezing and we only have expensive storage heaters. I put pyjamas or a normal babygro under, sometimes with a vest

Top tip buy a size bigger as they shrink in the wash! We had Sainsbury’s last year and they were fab. Use it as you would a sleepsack reguarding room temp and what to wear. I will say the next one looks way better than the sainsbury one especially because of the zippers

We have this one from next and we got it in 9-12 because people said it would fit small but 9-12 was massive on our girl so we got 6-9 too which is still big even after washing and dried in the dryer!

I think we are going to try a short sleeve vest under at first and see how she feels like that :)

I’m on the fence about these type of sleepsuits, to be honest. As far as I’m aware, the reason why most sleeping bags don’t have sleeves is because there’s concerns it can restrict their range of movement (imagine trying to roll over in a big winter coat, it’s considerably harder than in a light jacket/body warmer) and it also reduces circulation of air around their body which can increase the likelihood of them overheating.

Personally, I’d just go for more layers under a sleeveless bag but I’m not here to tell you you “can’t” or “shouldn’t” use these, just do your research and come to an informed decision x

I mean the one pictured is more appealing for the zips but spending that much is painful 🤣 I can never seem to sell clothes and they end up going to charity x

do you know if the hand bit can turn into mittens? My little girl scratches herself in her sleep but this looks amazing!! I just try and buy mittened sleepsuits though x

We have this one, bought it last month and I love it! We use a short sleeve vest and a sleepsuit underneath it as our room gets quite cold x

Maybe some socks if it’s juts a touch cold juts that little extra something

I have the sainsbury's one with the bears. Age 18-24 months but my boy is 16 months old, and it fits like he can grow in it till the end of the winter. It's a good choice for us because he likes to move his legs without constriction and also stand up and move about.

We used a 2.5 tog sleep suit from sainsburys (TU) last winter, they were great 🙌

So I’ve tried both Sainsburys and Next ones. Next ones are much better, they have zipper, open up on both sides and better quality, don’t “bobble” in washing like Sainsbury’s ones. Obvs are pricey but I got them cheaper on Vinted, we currently have 2 we use every day now as nights are a bit colder and we put long sleeved vest and sleepsuit (with no feet) underneath. We have thermostat set up to switch on if temp goes below 19 but I don’t think it has yet. Hope this helps :)

do you know if the next ones cuffs turn into mittens? My little girl sleeps with her hands over her face so ends up scratching herself x
