Sorry about the mess in the room 😳 but my partners auntie has given us this, is it a baby walker? 🤣 if so, when can my little one use it? She turned 4 month yesterday. Thanks x

Looks like a walker to me, I would wait till she is able to hold her head up well and her feet can reach the floor

@Treasure thank you, from what I can see there's no wheels on it, it just kinda rocks? I've never seen a baby with one before so no idea what it should do 🤣 x

Hi hun is it a bouncer?

Jumparoo

ooo it could be a bouncer, I'll have a look! X

It looks like a Walker to me. I think I didn’t use mine till about 6 months. But my little girl had her jumparoo from around 4 months once she was able to support herself and I think that aided in her balance etc by the time I put her in a Walker. She was away 🙈😂

We started using one around 4-5 months once they could support their head and upper body

It's not recommended to use it, banned it Canada I think, check online to see the research about the adverse affect on babies

As soon as they can hold their head up, my little boy loved his as he would never use a push along walker

My little one uses a jumparoo it tells you in the booklet the amount of time baby can be on it

it’s a rocker and a Walker my mum has one similar. You pull those little yellow knobs to pull the blue bits out and the wheels should come out (it makes sense in my head dunno it if makes sense to you!)

@Katrina that makes sense! Thank you!
She's 4 months now, do you think it'd be suitable for her to use as a rocker for now? X

I would wait just a little longer, her hips need more time to develop. I was always taught in training that if you do use one, wait until they start to crawl or try to crawl. My daughter is 7 months and has been trying to crawl for about a month, she just started using hers the other day. Mainly because she wants to stand all the time.
The rule of thumb is they have to be able to have their feet flat with a bend in their knees and be able to sit up straight.

thanks 😊 x

My daughter had this it’s a walker,
I personally wouldn’t use these, simply because it can affect hips ect, if your wanting something to sit in jumperoo is best. And for a walker when older get one that you push along not sit in it x

no way did I know this and I had this for my daughter I feel robbed 😂😂

It’s a baby walker, and they are highly associated with injuries and accidents, and can also cause developmental delay (in their motor skills and the natural process that an infant needs to take to develop). There aren’t enough studies though. I would not recommend using it. We have a jumperoo, those are better, but for very limited time. We use it for 20 minutes a day, and not every day.

Can I just say...never apologise for mess in a room...children and family life is messy and it absolutely ok ✨️🫶
