Progesterone
Has anyone else been prescribed progesterone during early pregnancy? I had a previous ectopic and a successful pregnancy following that but with lots of bleeding and cramping last time around. This time.ive only had a tiny bit of spotting but the doctor prescribed progesterone today for me until 16 weeks. Just wondered if anyone else is on it and how they are getting on? I understand it's normally prescribed if you've had a previous miscarriage and are currently bleeding which is fairly different to my circumstances at the moment.

Yes I am on it until 15 weeks
I’ve been on it for 3 weeks now I’m finding it fine just inconvenient more than anything with the discharge etc but anything to help x
I’m on progesterone; daily I take x3 tablets, x2 pessaries and x1 injection and will do until 12 weeks but I’ve got an IVF baby on the way so might be why it’s different
I’m on it too! Two pessaries a day until 16 weeks and I’ve been taking it since 6 weeks
I’m currently 10 + 4 weeks.
I had some spotting at 5 weeks and had a previous miscarriage!
I find the discharge is annoying but if it keeps baby safe then I’m all for it!❤️
