I would just give her something if it’s sore and keep an eye on it. Your tongue heals super fast and I wouldn’t imagine the doctor would be able to do anything for her anyway!

I feel horrible !! When I saw blood and my baby crying I just felt like a failure! Just seems red and a little cut but nothing his hanging

That's not an ER visit. I'd call your pediatrician and see if they have any suggestions as I bet she won't want to eat as much with a hurt tongue or if they think it's worth a stop in.

Bless, it’s always hard when they hurt themselves but it happens! You’re not a failure, you are her comforter and you will help her to feel safe and get better ☺️ try not to stress ☺️ x

Hello,
I am a dental assistant and I do work with kiddos all the time. Don’t worry, the mouth is the fast healing part of your body especially kiddos. Let her suck on some frozen fruits or popsicles nothing citrus and some Tylenol or over the counter pain meds (make sure to check with your pediatrician first for recommended dose) she should be fine. Good luck mama.
