Anyone’s baby gets distracted by the tv a lot. I know it’s not good for them as they are too young but even when it’s in the background, my baby keeps getting distracted and turns his head towards it while feeding. :/ I feel like I failed

I think they get attracted to the light, ours is the same!
thanks Jessica! Yeah I can’t do anything to change it

Mines the exact same! X

Yes they're attracted to movement, noise & colours so tv is pretty hypnotic for them! With my first I stopped having the TV on during awake time from about 7 weeks onwards as he was too distracted by it!

Yes! I often have it on in the background for my benefit, but at 7/8 weeks he suddenly became obsessed with it 🙈

Mines the same. It's sound and light they are attracted to apparently

You've not failed, it's normal for the baby at that age to be interested in lights and sounds. It's not like the baby is glued watching endless episodes of spongebob... I just block my babys line of vision with my hand and distract her. It's not the end of the world.
Thanks very much ladies ! It’s good to know your point of views about this and I feel better now towards this.
Thanks again xx

Mine does too. I’ll admit I use it to my advantage if I need to keep her distracted for 5 minutes to get dressed !
