When will I sleep again!?

Anyone else’s baby started sitting and pulling themselves up in cot several times at night? I’m so drained from having to keep going in and rocking him back to sleep for him to then sit up again 🙈 I gave in last night and put him in bed with me as he was up for 2 hours at 2am…. I’m glad he has learnt new skills but not practicing them all night would be great thanks 😂

Yes😭makes me so happy seeing her being able to pull herself but like come on you don’t need to do it in the middle of the night 😂😂Have you tried sleep training? Not cry it out of course that’s not the way we did ours but there’s a few videos i got off tiktok and watched them and we are still getting there now some nights are more difficult but it’s made things a lot easier for us than rocking her to sleep but some nights she stills ends up in our bed at 5am😭xx

Does he cry when he does this? Honestly I don’t go into my girl unless she’s crying. Even when she does cry out I wait 5-10 mins to see if she’ll just settle back on her own. At the minute she likes to wake up, sit in her cot and babble to herself 🙃. I leave her to it. Honestly if he’s not crying and not in danger (can’t reach anything/fall out of cot) I’d leave him to crack on 😅

I could have written this myself last week! 3 nights of it and then jt got better!

She wasn’t crying the majority of the time just babbling but she did keep falling cos she was so sleepy and hitting her head so we did go in and lay her down every time! And like you said we were then up for hours and hours after about 2am!

She now sits up maybe once or twice in the night but goes back to sleep as soon as I lay her down 😅 so didn’t last long for us luckily ☺️

Yes! I was always going in and laying her back down and she would cry when I laid her down.
Yesterday I left her to it and she actually ended up laying back down herself and going to sleep xx

So hard isn’t it 🙈 My son has never been a great sleeper so I feel your pain! Recently it’s getting worse, I feel like I’m going backwards with progress with his sleep 😩 xx

I haven’t done sleep training, have looked into it but don’t know where to start 🥴 I’ll have a look on TikTok xx

I have been doing this from 2am the past couple of nights and I will say he sleeps so much better!
Me and my partner aren’t the smallest people though and it’s a bit of a tight squeeze with 3 of us 🙈😂 xx

He does eventually cry yes, I try leave him in the hopes he go back to sleep but it’s always unsuccessful 👎🏼 I feel like it’s a bit of separation anxiety aswell because as soon as I pick him up or lay him in bed next to me he’s out like a light for hours! Xx
