Birthday party

Hey Mama’s … curious on everyone’s thoughts about birthday parties! Our little one is turning 1 Nov. 8th , we’re having 100 people at a hall . My husband is driving me nuts about it saying it’s to over the top :( … she’s my only girl and my last . What’s a good budget ? Is this necessary? Am I “ over the top ? ” lol

Tbh if you can afford it then do it, why not. People say “she won’t remember” no but you will, you will remember and you can cherish those times. My husband always says I’m OTT but fuck it, I love it🤣 Enjoy every second of it🫶🏽

100 people does sound like a wedding party but if you have the money to feed all of them then go for it!😂❤️❤️

If it works for you and it’s not too much of a hassle then go for it. Its more for the parents than it is the kid.

We’re having a small party 30 people the most, but I’ve ordered everything personalized from the favors to the food/ sweets were personalized with his name and the party theme. My friend is spending 8k on her baby’s first birthday party. If I could I would too but i can’t spend that much on his party my husband would “disown” me 🤣🤣

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?
