Child Support
So my ex and I ended things in July 2022 (shortly after finding out that I’m pregnant-about 4/6 weeks).
BACKGROUND: He claimed he was going through a divorce and he was just waiting for his wife to sign the papers and it got dragged out and he did some questionable things (take her to Disneyland to make her sign when I had asked him to go with me- even offered to pay his ticket-being one) it was a mutual decision to not prevent any pregnancy or anything. When he found out I was pregnant, he said we would talk about it later, claimed he wanted to be in my kids life but now I haven’t heard from him since July 2022.
I haven’t blocked him, just unfriended him on social media but he still has routes to talk to me or reach out. My grandpa is pressuring me to go after child support but I don’t want to open that can of worms and have him try to claim rights when he hasn’t been there the last year.
Any advice on how to approach it? Should I go after child support? I’m not in desperate need of money, it’s more of to hold him accountable for his “fun”.

Your grandpa is correct. At least you will get some assistance
Regardless anything can happen
I don’t know girly. If you and your baby are happy and cared for as you are then don’t open that can of worms and put yourself through that. If you needed the assistance I’d say get after his ass but while he should be helping you he isn’t and if you’re doing good leave it be.
