I’m so sorry you’re going through this. If you can’t get support from your family, there are usually local domestic violence groups and non-profits that can give you the support you need. Abuse is never okay no matter if you’re expecting their child or not.

I am so sorry you are going through this. The website below should be able to get you connected to resources in your area:

Forget what your family says! This is not OK, it's not acceptable, it's not your responsibility! You're pregnant and you're priorities are that baby and yourself. You need to seek professional help and or seek a church.
Make a report to police so it's on record. File a restraining order if you need space. Don't keep letting it slide. You already know what you need to do but you're scared. Don't be scared think of your child you're a mother now. Seek real help!

The cops have gotten involved and I had a protective order but he says he’s going to hurt himself if I’m not in his life because there’s nothing else to live for

I’m so sorry you’re going through this!
If it is safe for you to do so, these are some other resources you can connect with
988- you can call or chat (text or via google) this helpline and they can connect you with a counselor who can offer resources and advice for people in your life threatening self harm. Just be mindful this can be connected to 911 if there’s suspicion of immediate danger, and to be aware of your own safety regarding how much identifying information you give.
