My son is a month and a half old and over the past few weeks, he’s developed dry skin on his forehead and in his eyebrows. As I’m a first time mum and know absolutely nothing about babies; is this normal? Do all newborns get this or should we see a doctor about it?

Its completely normal, my little boy has the same thing. You can usually just use a small amount of baby safe moisturiser to clear it up

My little one had it and it's pretty much cradle cap that was on his forehead and in his eyebrows and I just used the cradle cap moisturizer on it and it went away really fast :) my friend said very common when they are little

mine did the exact same thing!

Yeah just dry skin, mouthing to be alarmed about, I'd use something like: coconut oil, almond oil, coca butter
I have a body oil safe for mom and baby that has all of them plus vitamin E which is amazing it's called Mothers Blend. If your bf you could also out some milk in the bath water!
Was about to say it looks like cradle cap, but never used a special moisturizer specifically for it but that's a good idea as well since it looks like it could be cradle cap!

Petroleum jelly cleared up our baby’s.

Coconut oil worked wonders for my baby. She had a lot of dry flaky skin all over and especially over her forehead. I stopped using soap temporarily and massage her with coconut oil before a bath.

My twins had it and it went away by itself.. coconut oil is good I heard

Vaseline is also apparently wonderful for skin whether it's dry or a rash, anything!

My baby had this too, I used aquaphor on her face & within days it cleared

Mustela hydra bebe is good for dry skin x

My son had and has the same thing! Aquaphor, Aquaphor, Aquaphor! We put it on him religiously every night after a bath, or sponge bath. He's not a fan of it, but hey, his skin looks nice after awhile. He becomes glossy 😂

Very normal. I would try Vaseline or coconut oil

My girl had the same thing! I used a soft silicone srubby to gently wash it with soap and some lotion after every day, cleared up pretty quickly

All babies peel after birth. Dont put anything on it. Its normal. Geez

no need to be rude about it, was just asking as a new mum.

My baby had some of this. Mustela products and Earth Mama products totally cleared it up!

My baby developed dry skin at a few weeks and I swear by Kokoso baby balm stick use day and night not scented Is best

it’s to all the people commenting to put stuff on them, wasn’t meant to you

i put breastmilk on my sons!

I definitely second coconut oil
