Teething help !

My Lo is teething I think, she's extremely fussy and goes from one extreme to the other, happy and smiling to screaming, keeps putting hand and objects in her mouth, I've tried teething gel doesn't seem to make a difference, can I give her calpol? I can't handle the crying and fussing much longer, Help !
