Here's the idea: We chat every other week or more often if you'd like. Message, voice or video. Share your excitement, or pride, cry on my shoulder, ask my advice, vent, and I'll do the same with you. Since we moved I felt very isolated and I think it would be nice to have a friend to check in with on a regular basis, whether we talk for ten minutes or four hours. Especially since we've begun trying to have our third so I just went through a miscarriage and I expect I'll be going through a few more in the near future. TTC buddy anyone?
Ideally you would be someone who has a bit in common with me: Married, has a child/children, has experienced loss, TTC, maybe a stay-at-home mom too? Let me know if you're interested and we can chat and see if we mesh.
Want to know a bit more about me first? I'm very much a straight shooter and would prefer you always speak your mind. I'd rather get my feelings hurt than not know what you think. I have two kids, one that'll be four in a few months and one that just turned a year old. I had four miscarriages in between my first and second and I just had my fifth miscarriage a little less than a month ago. We want four kids but with my health and the problems we've run into, we may just have three. My husband and I have been together for nearly 8 years. I'm a hippie when it comes to birth but things have, of course, never gone to plan. We've struggled with breastfeeding but I fed my first for 18 months and am currently trying to wean my second to hopefully increase our chances of having our third soon. We don't use corporal punishment but do enforce firm boundaries. I don't attend church but I'm not an atheist or agnostic. I'm more conservative than liberal, I think I'm really more middle of the road it just seems impossible to be that these days. Lastly I'm an ESTJ and if you're fond of Myers-briggs Types I'd love to know yours.
