Hi mamas! Do any of you have any hacks or advice for congestion? My baby boy is almost 3 months old and he seems so congested. His doctor doesn’t seem to be worried about it which gives me some relief but I can’t help but feel like he’s uncomfortable because I can hear the congestion sometimes. I’ve tried the feuds nose spray and sucker, tried holding and feeding him while in the shower, and also tried just holding him in the shower with steam. Thank you in advance 🫶🏼🩵

My baby is going through the same thing. I will put some saline drops in his nose and then wait a little then suck out with the nose Frida. Then I keep the humidifier in our room filled. He’s the most miserable laying down so I try to keep him upright even a little.
I’m also diffusing some essential oils at night. Not sure if you have Doterra, but on guard and breathe are what we use

my twins are only just 3 weeks old and with the weather they’re also pretty bunged up even though we’ve only been out to an appointment! i panic ordered a haaka nasal aspiration and the calpol saline spray when one of them actually stopped breathing for a sec because she was so blocked. They both work really well, obviously the aspirator is much better once everything’s loosened with the spray but that’s been the best solution for us! Also agreeing with on the humidifier, works a dream - it kills 2 birds 1 stone for us as they tend not to settle well, especially uncomfortable when backed up so lavender essential oil is magic!

I was using the saline spray 1x in the morning and 1x before bed. Did this from when bub was 2months and it seemed to get better when he was 4months so I started reducing it. He's 5mo now and barely get any congestion anymore, it did get better by itself just like what my GP said. I've also heard from my midwife to try a drop of breastmilk in each nostril, didn't get to try this myself but thought I'd share it

Suction often and a humidifier is a great help for when they sleep!
