Red and smells in neck crease
I've just noticed this redness in my baby's neck crease. Has anyone else noticed this in theirs? It goes further round than is pictured and has a slight smell to it 😞. I feel terrible that I haven't noticed it before and it must have been like that a while. We have been bathing her and thought we'd been cleaning everywhere properly. What causes it? Is it milk/sick? Should we be putting dribble bibs on all the time? I haven't been using them as she isn't actually dribbling.
Any advice appreciated.

Yes! It’s the milk dripping during feeds. I wipe his neck after each feed with a wet wipe - more like pat, as the skin is so sensitive and 2-3 times a week, I use bepanthene.
Also, bibs don’t really work for us… they’re too wide and somehow all the milk goes on his neck. If anything, i try and use a muslin…
We call it ‘neck cheese’ 😬I just try to remember to have wipe around with this wipe or a muslin
We use a muslin as bibs are too big currently but our LO helpfully wipes his mouth with his hands for us too occasionally 😂
