Venting/Child Fever
Im so sorry i need to vent so hard, my baby is 5 months old he’s had a 38.9°C/ 102.02°F yesterday morning it’s (i’m in australia btw it’s 6am here now) and this morning has gotten it again and my partner sorry for the language is being an idiot not listening to me or letting me do anything about it we have gave him medicine but he still wants to send him to daycare because it’s a waste of money if we don’t, he doesn’t want to take him to doctors because we need to pay he doesn’t want to take him to hospital because waiting times like what??!! and a according to him that temperature isn’t “dr hot” as in it’s not hot enough for dr to worry but to me if he’s had it since yesterday went away for a bit with medicine and came back again today he definitely has something and needs to get checked we can’t just keep giving him medicine. this is so stressful for me he is so little and sick and his father is so careless not even worrying i don’t even know what to do at this point he’s so hard headed.

If he’s getting a fever that won’t go away and no other symptoms they could have an ear infection. Call your pediatrician and they will tell you to go in
If the fever isn't going away with tylenol/ advil then I'd go to the doctors. I have been told you can piggy back the medication to stay ontop of the fever. Hope he feels better soon 💙
