Is spotting normal?
Hi everyone, I’m 15 weeks now and this has never happened before and want to make sure it’s okay and normal to have a tiny bit of red (more like light pink) spotting when I peed today and it made me a little nervous. Has this happened to anyone else? Could it be due to me drinking caffeine?

I’ve had brown spotting, but not pink. I’d keep an eye on it and call your midwife tomorrow to let them know. They likely won’t be worried about it unless it gets heavy or dark with cramping, but always good to keep your team informed!
This started with me at 14 weeks. Sometimes brownish yellow and sometimes tarnish pink. I called my OB's office, and they didn't seem concerned. Said very notmal to have slight bleeding at this stage because the uterus is going through a lot at this stage. I'm now 15 weeks today and the discharge is lessening.
Same happened to me. More on the brown color. Called the office and they didn’t seem concerned unless it continued for a few more days, got heavier or more red. I did end up going to the ER got peace of mind as it is my first and I was a bit paranoid
I’m almost 16 weeks and I’ve had bleeding off and on for the past couple of weeks. The doctors said it’s pretty typical and their red flag for concern is if the bleeding is heavy enough that your changing a pad an hour or more.
