In the end, it is completely worth it to get it done, it will save them a lot of pain and suffering. Be aware that some children do have to get tubes multiple times, but I can also prevent hearing loss from endless ear infections

My baby just had his done in August. He had 6 infections in 8 months. Procedure was under 5 mins. In and out. They don't show any signs of pain afterwards. Only hard part is them coming out of anesthesia. But usually on the ride home they'll be playing and happy

Mine's had 5 but they haven't mentioned them

Genuinely wanting to know What causes ear infections ?

water can get stuck in the ear. They can also be fungal and super hard to get rid of. Basically any irritation of the ear drum turns into an ear infection

Pedi won't mention it usually. My boys Pedi wouldn't mention it at all so I called the ENT Dr myself and got a consult. Couldn't see my baby in pain anymore

My baby just got it done this morning ! She’s 18 months and I was terrified . I just wanted to come back and post that procedure literally took 15 min and she got tubes in her ears and adenoid removed . I was shocked when he told me he was done. She was fussy once the anesthesia worn off but my baby girl was still playful and much like herself. I feel relieved!!!!

Hardest part now is ear drops because I have to force her to stay still while she screams. However it’s only for 5 days but yea I hope this help all moms that’s worried! 💕
