Thermostat
Hi AZ mamas. What do you keep your thermostat at, at night? I know 68-72 is recommended but we typically keep it at 74 and we’re cold with it at this (supposed to be comfortable for your baby with one more layer than you are). I’m tempted to go up a degree at 75 because I feel like my little babe is cold (his arms, face are cold but tummy is comfortable).
Terrified of SIDS but also don’t wanna freeze my little guy out because our AC is running all night!

I keep mine at 71 all day
I kept mine also 70-72
In the summer I set it to 78 lol. But nowadays 75!
We keep it at 70-71 in a house. I used to be freezing with 74 in our previous apartment. I think it depends on the size of your home and how effective the airflow/insulation is.
So true ⬆️ at our old apartment 70 was good (I need to sleep in the cold) and at our current apartment we keep it at 67/68 and still doesn’t feel as cold as 70 in our other apartment
72, I'd do lower if my husband wasn't a baby about it.
And their arms aren't a good judge of temp. Check their back/ belly/ neck
I keep mine at 75 below that im cold 😂
How old is babe? Use the back of their neck as a way to check temperature! The feet and hands have not great circulation when they are young to begin with so not a great place to check for body temp!

I’m a sleep consultant and it definitely depends on your house and how it feels. I keep mine at 74. My baby has a tog 1 sleep sack and a long sleeve footed PJs. Hands are always cold so don’t rely on them but touch the neck and chest of your baby. If it’s nice and warm then your baby is perfect. If it’s sweaty then baby is too hot and if it’s cold to touch it means baby is cold.
