Refusing tummy time
Anyone else's baby refusing to do tummy time the past few days? My baby keeps putting her head down and trying to eat her hand, and then getting upset. She's not keen on side lying either, she's getting upset too.

Mine was the same because she wanted to eat her hand lol. I’ve settled for a modified tummy time when she’s cranky - I lay on my back and place her chest against mine so she’s propped up a little by my boobs, and I bring her hands to the front so she can chew on them while upright. Has worked well so far!
I’ve just been doing this for a couple minutes after each nappy change just to make sure she’s still getting that tummy time in despite being cranky
My baby is exactly the same. I’m trying toys underneath him right at his hands so this encourages staying in his elbows and keeping them under him. I also bought a water sensory mat from Kmart and this is working too as there’s lots to look at underneath him.
yes I second getting a water mat. My baby loves it, plus it’s greats for teaching them to shift their weight to each elbow which helps with rolling from tummy to back :)
