Why is it so hard to get through to centerlink?

I called the complainant line yesterday and was on hold / in que for 2 hrs just to be hung up on. I've been on hold an hour so far today, and I'm really hoping not to be hung up on again. 😔 they approved my partnered parenting payments on a Saturday, and I didn't know how to report so I waited till Monday to call in and ask for help not knowing that it got cut that morning while I was waiting because I failed to report the lady then said ill make you a phone appointment because we can't do claims in this office. The person I spoke to for my phone appointment had to re submit my claim and said someone will look at it for me the next few days and I haven't heard anything since and I can't even get through to talk to someone. I had waited 3 months to get it approved the first time. 🫠
