Hair advice

I know it's not child related but I'm fed up with it and just want to feel nice 😭
I always end up just chucking it up as Idk what to do with it and I never feel like it looks nice.
If you have hair the same as me, please what do you do to tame it? Any advice is really appreciated, this is what it looks like with leave in conditioner and I've put some oils in it and this is still what I've got, most would have silky smooth hair doing that but not me!
Help please ladies I want to feel pretty 😭

I’m a hair consultant & colour tech :) my personal advice would be to have a cut if possible. Even just an inch off the bottom and some nice textured layers putting in as it looks very thick which can then make the hair limp and out of shape.

Silky smooth is down to the styling really, you’re doing the right thing with oil. I’m not a fan of leave in conditioner, I recommend my clients to use a decent conditioner that washes out and leave it on at least 2/3 mins in the shower then rinse with cooler water on the final rinse.

Do you have straighteners? If so once it’s dry, run them through and then apply your oil at the very end and that will help you create that silky smooth look. Hope this helps 💖

I honestly feel like a good haircut works wonders. Try get a hair cut that will work with your natural texture and use products that will enhance your natural wave. Ive not used any heat tools since i got a “shag” cut and my hair texture looks v similar to yours. Xxxx

Oh I feel you! My hair used to be quite low maintenance and since kids it’s coarse and frizzy and wavy. I’ve used loads of different products trying to bring out my wave and be able to wear it naturally but with little success. I’m considering going to a curly hair specialist hairdresser to get advice on what cut and products will help. Seems like such a small thing, but as someone who used to love their hair I’m really really low about having it up everyday and never enjoying how it looks. I was prepared for you body changes, not the hair!!! 😂😂😂
