Potty training is ruining mine and my daughters relationship!
Potty training is ruining my relationship with my 3 year old! Everyday there is tantrums and I'm struggling so much! We had a great relationship before but the constant tantrums are depressing me! She started out so well proud of herself wanting to give up pull ups now she's screaming the house down for one and i feel like I have no choice but to give in! But then complains cause she's peed in it!
I wish I'd never started Potty training now! My husbands no help cause he's always at work and the few times he is home he will either leave her in a pull up or just let her pee everywhere!
Felt like this with my little boy, he started potty training just before his 3rd birthday, his cousin had just done it so he wanted to but absolutely refused the potty, made him scream as soon as we got it out. He ran round for a couple hours a day without a nappy on and we put him on the potty every 15 mins to start with, even if just sitting for a second. I remember giving him a snack and putting his favourite show on if he agreed to stay on the potty while he watched, and then eventually did use it, the praise was so intense. It's so draining persevering but once she's done it you'll both be so proud. Sometimes a few wee's on the floor is necessary, as annoying as it is
