Put the baby in one of the baby seat in the trolley

Avatar

If you aren’t buying many/ heavy things, you can use the bottom of the pram to put things in. If you want free hands, you can try a sling.

We use the baby seat on the trolley or we have stuck his seat in the trolley and put shopping around him when we haven't had access to a trolley with a seat or an area to clip baby on

Avatar

does anyone know if Aldi usually have these trolleys

Avatar

yes they do, you just have to look for them as they can sometimes be hidden as they aren’t used very often. But I’d definitely take a baby sling just incase you can’t find them xx

Avatar

Put baby in a sling if you can’t find a trolley with a seat

Avatar

I use the baby carrier, my pram has shit storage underneath

Avatar

Depends. Either use the trolley. Or if in town put the basket over the handles, top or carry and put heavy items like milk in the basket.
Didn’t overly like the trolleys that you could put the car seat in as you couldn’t see over it.

Most supermarkets have the baby seat trolleys, take a blanket for them to lay on though as they can be grubby 🄓 I’ve also avoided using some stores as they have a short supply and/or really dirty trolleys so I go to those when my husband is off work and can have the kids for an hour! I also pop out to do top up shops if I have visitors coming, I can leave the kids for 20 minutes to get a pint of milk for example!

Me and my husband both had to go.
But, I started doing online with curbside pick up. I hate doing it that way, but it’s so much easier! I’m not sure if they offer that where you are.

Avatar

I have 2 under 2, grocery pick up only for me at this point, order on the app they bring it to me no one gets out, if I need a couple things mid week I go with just my older child when their dad is home from work quick haha

Avatar

I just get my shopping delivered!

Avatar

I’m just getting my weekly food shop delivered. Will pop out if we need anything else during the week but the main stuff delivered will help.

Avatar

I used to put the car seat into one of the trolleys if I was on my own, couldn’t get much in the trolley and it was a juggle with the bags at the end but somehow made it work 🤣

Avatar

I put my LG in the baby carrier

Avatar

We just shop online and get it delivered

Avatar

I put baby in carrier

Avatar

Like the others said, just pop the baby in the trolley! Or when I walk to the shop with the pram. I use 2 bag hooks on my pram handle then hook both ends of the basket to it at an angle which is a good hack! X

Avatar

You can put baby in a carrier, sling or wrap. Online grocery delivery or send someone.

Very manageable Hello ā˜ŗļø I have a toddler and 6 year old with ADHD and no help so please take this advice to help you because shopping definitely isn't easy with any amount of kids Amen šŸ’ I have a 5 month old and for the first 2 months I just used a car capsule and now I just use a baby carrier I rely on my baby carrier it's manageable believe me if I can do it you can girl ,ā™„ļø

Click and collect or home delivery! Or a baby carrier worked for us

You go shopping every day šŸ™ˆ. I hated the trolleys with the bit for the car seat, it sits so high you can’t see properly and I kept bashing peoples ankles and having grumpy old men shout at me which didn’t help the hormones. So yeah I’d go every day, it was an excuse to get out the house and go for a walk, or go with my husband so he could push the trolly.

Order online and have it delivered.. trust me, the slight extra in delivery is worth it šŸ˜‚

I don't drive so usually do a few smaller shops throughout the week, it gets me out of the house and it makes it easier to not forget ingredients for dinners etc. I have quite a big changing bag that hangs from the handle that I can fit loads of things into, then the basket underneath can fit quite a few bits if arranged well, and I have clips that I can hang bags off the handle too, if needed even more can bring a backpack too. I've often looked like a mad woman with the shopping hanging all over the buggy but honestly it is a thousand times easier now than it was before the baby because I don't need to get a taxi or wait for the weekend to do the shopping because on my own I could only have a backpack and like 2 light bags and even then I'd get tired walking all the way home (20 mins one way)

Body carrier

Loads of options, there’s trolleys where the car seat can sit on top, or put the baby in the trolley with the baby seat, or stick the whole car seat in the actual trolley, I’ve done that a few times. Or if it’s just a small shop, take a basket and hold and push pushchair at the same time, or sling the basket over the handle bar of the pushchair if it fits

Avatar

I usually do this but I’m not always that organised with shopping and tend to leave milk and washing powder etc to the last min lol

Avatar

Asda delivery!

Avatar

I used to use click and collect and tbh I spent less than I do now because i don’t go in
