Itchy hands and feet and other symptoms

Hi everyone
I can see itchy skin is a symptom during peri and Meno. But does anyone get itchy palms of hands and soles of feet at night? I've been getting it a lot lately. Also a very very dry mouth, nausea and at times constant hunger. Last month I had a migraine every day of my period as well. I've had migraines since I was a kid though but they've changed to just be around my period now. I'm also getting a dull ache in my liver area. I've had blood tests all were fine apart from sightly raised bilirubin. I'm seeing GP again tomorrow. I also had a strange random bump on my back recently, it just appeared one night then vanished and came back vanished and came back. I also woke up one night with my arm puffed up and feeling hard and numb just below my right elbow. It went down the next day and has not done it again since. So odd. I'm including a pic of my back, the purple bit is a birth mark btw.

Hi Bella. I get very itchy ears, legs and under my boobs. I found bio oil helped with the legs but not under the boobs. Also I had thirsty constantly. I can’t feel as tho I hydrate, doesn’t matter how much I drink. I wake every morning parched. Didn’t realise this was a menopause symptom til a few days back when someone else mentioned it.

My itching was my right shoulder blade and I scratched until a bled sometimes. Now I’m on HRT it’s disappeared 👍 PS get that lump checked ♥️

Yes I get itchy soles at night too and during the day it’s my head and ears. I’ve recently changed HRT to gel and tablets and that has given me a whole new lot of symptoms xx

Hey, i ised to get so itchy at night usually back wer i cudnt reach to scratch 🤨 and legs belly...have been on hrt 4/5 months patch and utrogestan. Iv noticed this last month it hasn't been as bad nearly gone which is brilliant..few years ago i was itching that much during the day sum1 asked did i have fleas, i got a food intolerance test done, because the google doctor said it could be food r alcohol that was making me itch. I always had to male sure i was near a toilet to. Turns out i was intolerant to wheat and dairy so could be worth a try getting intolerance tested aswell...when i changed my diet it changed my life no itch unless i ate something that i shouldn't, and dont have to carry a roll of toilet roll with me everywhere anymore either 😁

Hi everyone...this itch issue could be coz of low iron or b 12 levels...please get them checked...I hope this helps...❤️

I do actually have low levels of both. But my b12 had improved to almost 600 when last measured. I can't seem to get my iron up though. I don't take supplements anymore because I seen to react to them all, especially the iron ones which made me feel like I was dying. I now just eat a lot of meat. My iron did go up slightly for a bit but I've not had it measured for a while as I can't afford to keep getting the tests myself and the doc will only do it every now and again. Itchy skin does also seem to be a peri symptom though from what I've read and heard from others.

I do have food intolerances too. I had a hair strand test which showed some of them. Histamine intolerance is a thing as well and I think I may have that.
The hair strand test was strange cos a lot of the foods I was showing as intolerant to I don't actually like. Think there were about five foods that I do like which made me sad.
Also pork showed as something I can't eat. I went veggie for three years and when I went back to meat, due to low iron, b12 etc I found pork made me feel sick whereas I used to be able to eat it fine. Or I thought I could eat it fine, but now I wonder if it used to give me symptoms too. I can't eat wheat or dairy either, that also came up in my hair strand test. I've always struggled with dairy anyway cos I've never liked it. So I felt like my body was trying to guide me away from what I can't handle by getting me to not like it.

where did you have this hair strand test done? ♥️

I can't remember off the top of my head but I can look it up. Will look it up, cos I think I have the details on my computer. I only printed out the test results to keep in a folder.

hi Shravni
No I'm not on any iron meds. Last time it was measured my iron had gone up a tiny bit, but it was still low. It's always been low but when it was last measured it was not as low as it had been.
I can't digest iron supplements either and I actually got pretty sick when taking supplements. I now only eat meat, veg and fruit. I was eating liver a fair bit for a while but I stopped, I should probably do that again as I think that is when it went up.
