This prenatal visit was so unexpected
Hi guys!
Today I was scheduled with a midwife since my doc got sick, and let me tell u the difference between the two 👀. Crazy. This lady was like asking ME questions this time instead of me asking. She checked my cervix, did a NST AND an ultrasound bc bebe was just sleeping. First time I see her face in 3D! 🥹🥹 I did cry lol.
I’m not even a centimeter dilated tho lol I could’ve sworn I was bc all the pinching sensations! And that shit huuuurtttt omg I had to power thru that pain with her shoving her fingers in there 🥲🥲💀
So yeah… baby isn’t moving as crazy at 37 weeks. But she passed everything. I see a lot of moms getting things going on here! Hope that’s me soon lol.

Glad your baby is doing well, sometimes they're sleepy girls and don't want to participate. I've experienced this once during the NST and was sent for a BPP (which she passed quickly lol)
Also, the cervix check is no joke lol! I had it done to me yesterday and all I could think was WTF??! Never experienced that before 😄 Wishing you the best for the remaining of your pregnancy!

The 3d are the best and them cervix checks do hurt 😩& I’m in the same boat as you mines still closed but hopefully our bodies progress sooner than later. Good luck with labor momma when the times comes

midwives > OBs all day (unless there’s a medical emergency) so thankful i’m low risk and get to do all my care with and have my baby delivered by a midwife 🫶
yeah honestly I didn’t really get a choice lol I changed docs bc of insurance at 30 weeks and he was the one available for me so 🤷🏻♀️ but there’s midwives as well I could schedule with
