🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️ I was diagnosed with gestational hypertension at 27-28 weeks and am being closely monitored for preeclampsia. I have a blood pressure cuff at home and am supposed to take my BP a few times a day and call the doctor if it gets too high. I’m being seen by the doctor twice a week and getting weekly blood and urine tests. Also doing weekly ultrasounds and no stress tests to make sure baby is okay. The plan is to be induced at 37 weeks and if things get worse it could get pushed to 34 weeks. My blood pressure has spiked twice and I’ve had to go to the hospital for extra monitoring, but my blood work and urine protein levels have mostly stayed stable so haven’t needed to be hospitalized long term for monitoring or anything. It was pretty stressful and scary at first, but now it’s just gotten annoying for me to go to the doctor so often (but I’m also having a bad week & just generally annoyed/sad that this is causing other things I’ve had planned to get cancelled and not go how I wanted)
