My baby is constantly getting a nappy rash.
I change her nappy all the time and I’ve changed the wipes I used thinking this could help which it has abit but still getting a rash every few weeks. I also use sudocrem even when there’s no rash to try and stop one from happening.
I’ve been reading online and it says some babies have more sensitive skin which can make them more prone to getting a rash🤷🏼♀️
Just wanting to know if anyone else’s LO is getting a nappy rash more often and has any tips to help?

My girl gets really bad nappy rash whenever she has garlic… it makes her poop more acidic. Took us a little while to figure it out. Could it be something she’s eating?

hmmm possibly🤔 I’ll try and keep an eye out then for something she’s eating, thank you

So the dr told me that when they are teething their saliva causes more acidic poos and wees. So if she is teething this might be the cause. My daughter has horrendous nappy rash with teething so much so we had to get medicated creams before. We also had to swap nappies and wipes for her. She seemed fine with the ones we were buying her and never had an issue before but when things got bad we swapped to a more expensive brand and she hasn’t had as many flare ups.
I also highly recommend metanium cream. It gets everywhere and because it’s yellow you can see it more on things but works a treat.
Hope that was helpful

Have you tried changing nappy brand? Using a barrier cream even when clear. I agree with above the yellow cream is the best for when they have an active rash.

We use pampers coconut wipes, which was a game changer. Sadly Suedocream has never worked for us either. Have you tried metanium?

Metanium May help

I find my little one gets bad nappy rash if she has too much fruit or is teething

we use this too!

Thanks so much everyone will definitely try metanium and see if that helps!!

I'd also suggest using a new cream with gloves and not double dipping in to the nappy cream incase it's being caused by bacteria thats being reintroduced by touching the rash and then the cream
