ill baby
So i’m just looking for a bit of advice, all day my usually happy and healthy baby has just been so so off, she is screaming if we put her down and wont even settle to sleep on me, she isnt feeding and sounds so snotty and chesty and is burning hot and when led down is making a grunting noise, and had a temp of 37.4 after calpol, is this just a cold or something more serious ? thankyou

Temp seems normal (I think anything above 38 is considered high but could be wrong) but sounds like my little boy over the last few days, super clingy and generally not himself with a cold. We’ve been having lots of cuddles, he’s been having calpol and had the calpol plugin in his room, sleeping lots and he’s slowly coming back around. I actually got a snot sucker today and managed to get a fair bit out and you could see he was instantly relieved! Hopefully it passes for her soon 🤞🏼
Hope your baby recovers soon, looks like temperature is not high and will get better soon x Just in case temperature gets higher and won’t get better or has a rash that doesn’t fades if you put a glass on top of it babies need immediate medical attention as could be meningitis
