Toddler not talking!!

Is anyone’s 2 year old not talking?
She communicates amazingly and you always know what she’s talking about from pointing to showing you etc but she’s just not saying a lot of words - I’m very sure it’s because we keep asking and she’s super stubborn and sassy but I’m starting to get worried.
She’s in full time nursery, they don’t seem concerned but she’s 2 1/2 in December and still only says a handful of words!

My sister didn’t talk until age 4. When she did she never stopped. Jesus she never stopped lol. She was the same exact way pointing at stuff and saying words here n there and lots of babble but then one day she said a whole sentence unprovoked and never stopped… I say take her for testing if you see it as a big concern to make sure she is developing correctly and if she is just keep talking to her she gona talk back !
I’m not sure where you are if In the uk. Chat to your health visitor about local toddler groups that focus specifically on speech and language. I’m also not 100% sure on speech development milestones and all children grasp things at different points anyway but a few things you can do is lots of reading and singing daily. Talk about what she’s pointing to etc if she uses a dummy get rid at this point. But yeah chat to a health visitor they’ll do a questionnaire and give you advice and tips and follow up xx
