I’m agony coming off the mini pill.

I came off cerezette a week ago to try and get my body back to normal cycles etc before we start try for baby number 2 and oh my god I feel absolutely horrendous.
I have pelvic congestion syndrome and have always suffered anyway but this is next level.
My stomach and back are in bits and headaches and dizziness have me feeling hungover every day.

Anyone else experienced this?
I’m hoping once I have a period it will improve e slightly because I can’t cope with this.

So sorry you're going through this. When I came off I had a IUD in anyway so didn't notice anything ( to stop my bleeding for endometriosis I had this on top of the IUD) then when I had the IUD out to TTC I didn't have any particular issues just period pain as I had it taken out during a withdrawal bleed. If you had predictable withdrawal bleeds, maybe go back on and come off it when you have the next one?

Your hormones are rebalancing so try to rest and drink a lot of water. Keep warm and get comfort from family and (furry) friends. I tried about 10 pills for endo and had a few rough patches between each one. Just know it will get better eventually and you're not alone

Also try a hot water bottle or tens machine for your back pain

thanks so much for your message. I’m pretty sure I also have endometriosis but trying to get some professionals to take you seriously is difficult. I have had my gyne appointment come through Nov 2024!!! I’m just so fed up. My back and stomach and killing me aswell aswell as feeling incredibly hormonal with my moods all over the place. Just glad it’s a bit cooler now as my hot water bottle is my new best friend. X

Don't give up! Keep changing your GP until one refers you to a proper BSGE centre for diagnosis! A symptom diary might help. Took me 9 years for the diagnosis as well its a joke X
