Maternity Photos
Hey friends. I’m only 26 weeks but am at risk of early labor. I’ve had a very complicated pregnancy and have been told I’m at risk of preterm labor. For being 26 weeks I feel like I look big and was wondering if I should go ahead and do maternity photos? This is my first and most likely my last baby (again very complicated and idk if my body could handle another). Is it too soon for photos? Should I wait and just hope the baby doesn’t come too early? Any advice would be very helpful.
Photo for reference, sorry for the horrible mess of my bathroom 😅 it’s hard to clean while being on basically bed rest

If you want to take them now I would! Your bump is so cute and then you can kinda cross it off your check list

If you want to take them now you do it boo! You look stunning, wonderful bump! You could always ask photographer if you can set up if babe doesn’t come crazy early if you could do another set… you’d be surprised how much your belly will grow in the last few weeks.. at 30 I was like dang I’m HUGE now at 36 I’m like dang I’m really stinking huge lol so you could always do two if it’s in your budget. A photographer might work with you ❤️ best of luck and a happy healthy rest of your pregnancy, birth and baby!
Cute bump. Do it as soon as you can, one less thing to think about. If you carry longer, you can always do one later with bigger bump. Wear a body tight but stretchy dress so its more pronounced at this point! 😍😍😍
I say go for it wear or do something that will show your bump more get all the experience that you can and i’m sorry you’re going through this i hope everything gets better 💖

I’m curious what your risk is? When I was 25 weeks I was in the same boat, I went on bedrest and I did some “homemade maternity” photos at home just in case I didn’t make it as far as I wanted for my real photos. I say go for it just in case but also take it easy on yourself and keep it simple

Girl! Do maternity photos! Do three shoots if you want! If they do come early, I think you’ll be sad not to have any
