8 week vaccinations

A jab in each thigh and then oral drops. She’ll probably scream but it’s short lived. They’ll give you instructions on infant calpol, she might be upset afterwards or sleep more.

My HV told me to take a bottle just in case they advise to feed while doing the injections, but my nurse said not to bother. My boy quite liked the mouth one (apparently it’s sweet). The injection only took 2-3 seconds each. My boy jumped at first, then I can’t lie he did scream and cry. But after a cuddle and I held him really close, he calmed down less than a minute! I stuck to the paracetomol guidance and my boy has been fine. He’s been a little sleepier than usual, but still fed as normal 🙂 his legs do have a slight lump but they said that’s normal.
