Stitches and forceps delivery.
I’m 4.5 weeks pp and unsure if my stitches have healed properly. It’s not causing much pain anymore but something just doesn’t feel right. Will this get checked at the 6/8 week check or will I have to make an appointment with a different healthcare professional?

Your midwife would normally ask you from my experience, I had stitches with my first daughter and I told her that I was still sore and things and she asked if I would like for her to check to make sure things were okay
The doctors should ask you if everything is OK and if your worried they will check for you x
Im 3.5 weeks PP and no one checked my stitches when I was discharged from hospital or any appointments so on Tuesday I called the community coordinator and asked for an appointment for them to be checked and they booked me an appointment the next day
The only thing I noticed that was weird was hard tissue from healing .. it felt “off” and “weird” too
