Baby Jumpers?

So my son is 5 months and has pretty good control of his neck and head and I’ve been dying to get him a baby jumper with the stand to put in our living room but he can’t quite sit up on own yet.. have any of you other moms still purchased and used a baby jumper even though your little one is still developing in the area of sitting on their own?? Should I just ask his pediatrician?

My baby used one since she was around 3 months old. She was able to control her neck and head so dr said it was okay no more than 1 hour in 24 hours.

no doctor has ever told me a time limit for the baby if the baby wants to jump let them jump

My daughter has been in hers since 4 months. She loves in. She just learned to jump. She can entertain herself in it for up to 45 minutes

I would ask his pediatrician. We're skipping the jumper and just have an activity center that allows baby to "walk" around it (the Around We Grow). I saw some info from a physical therapist that babies don't naturally jump until they're 2 and doing it sooner could hurt their development but obviously plenty of people use them! If we do, we'll keep it to 20 minutes at a time, though. I've read the same for walkers as well!

respectfully i disagree with u sll my family have grown and learned way faster then most kids i know the kids depend on us u forget all moms dont know hundreds of info either so u csnt push that info on someone no one brough up about a knife u did that shows whwre ur head goes

the “Around We Grow” is a great idea! I didn’t even think of that!

My baby’s been using one for a couple weeks now (he’s 5 months old). He doesn’t jump at all he kind of just stands and spins around in it lol but he loves standing so he likes it! We don’t really want him bouncing too much in it because we don’t want to hurt his hips but we let him hang out in it for like 10min/day. He has really good head control but he can’t sit by himself yet
