Due date

Try not to think of your 'due date' as a set date. Your due period is 38-42 weeks and baby will come when he is ready 🥰 it's stressful thinking of exact dates and hoping baby is here by that date. It will happen so take this time to chill, have baths, watch crap on netflix, eat chocolate and relax! The more relaxed you are, the more likely labour will come x

My little girl is here now but I felt exactly the same the way, I was induced in the end and she arrived 9 days after her due date. I had a really positive induction experience though so just know they’re not always negative if you do decide to go down that route! X

what type of induction did you have as I have one booked for Saturday but it’s the one where I can go home after and I’m not sure if i want it or not. X

I am really trying to think like this just struggling with pain and not being able to sleep xx

I know its hard when pregnancy symptoms overtake everything else! He will be here before you know it 🥰 x

I had the balloon catheter which is probably what you’re booked in for? They put it in in the evening and I spent the night at home, had it removed in the morning and then they broke my waters shortly afterwards. Personally I liked being at home rather than in the ward whilst I was having contractions so I could have a bath etc xx

Awh lush thank you. Yh that’s why I went for going home as I didn’t want to be in hospital for so long. How long after waters broke was baby here ? Xx

I had my son early and was convinced my daughter would be even earlier. I couldn't believe it that I reached my due date and she hadn't arrived. I even said to my husband I know I'm obviously going to give birth at some point but I really feel like it's never going to happen

had my waters broken around 9am and she arrived at 6pm xx
