Had no signs at all that baby is on the way yet and starting to feel quite impatient to join the mum club!
I did read this morning that 70% of FTM go 'late' (40weeks+) so I guess it'll happen at some point soon!

I’ve had a few like small symptoms, but I am so ready! Just want to meet her now 🙋♀️

Hi! 39 weeks on Monday and also from Maidstone! Feeling. Achy and impatient too, as soon as I’ve stopped work I have sciatica 🙄 so struggling to walk! I’m hoping it will all start soon but no real signs other than some occasional twinges after going to the toilet! X

I'll be 39 weeks Monday, I keep getting little signs no contractions or waters breaking/leaking etc
Was denied s+s last week due to baby head not fixed and was told ny cervix still very thick so not expecting him to come until at least due date. He's my third and 1st was 6 days late and 2nd on due date.

Yeah 39 today and everyone keeps asking me if hes here yet, and panicking whenever I go anywhere but definitely doesn't feel like anything is happening any time soon. I'm resigned to the fact he will be late now x

39+2 still nothing I'm occasionally getting back and tummy cramps but nothing lasting long to call them contractions. I just want to meet my baby girl now. I have an induction booked at 41 weeks x

@Alana did the midwife check your cervix? I've got an appointment next week and not sure whether to ask of there's any indication of him coming..

@Charlotte lol same - 'when are you due?' 'Any minute really' and watch the omg expression appear 😆

I’m 39 + 2 and counting down, don’t feel particularly uncomfortable but just so impatient and generally ready for him to arrive 😂 due date is Thursday and midwife appointment booked for Friday for a potential sweep but I keep hearing they’ll only work if baby is ready and you have two in the space of 48 hours….

39+3 weeks here with my second. Lost my mucus plug yesterday and just felt like crap today but nothing seems to be happening. I’m ready now though. I have a midwife appointment on Wednesday (due date) where they will do a sweep, so just got to wait and see now.

My first was born 41 weeks and 4 days. It gives you an opportunity to practice patience which you’ll need plenty of when they become toddlers 😀

I’m 39+3, I can barely walk or stand straight, the pressure down there is just too much, I don’t know if that’s a sign,no mucus plug, no water leakage.

My first was born at 41+6. I went into labour spontaneously on 41+2. It’s very common for first babies to be late. Try not to focus on the due date as you just end up feeling disappointed. Rest up and enjoy this time!

39+2 and it’s starting to get so hard. Having a sweep Wednesday next week and then being booked an induction If that doesn’t work, just getting impatient and uncomfortable now and as much and people checking in is, the constant “any signs” “are you in labour yet” “gosh she’s taking her time” is just becoming a tad annoying xx

40-weeks today and still waiting. It feels like a good lesson in patience. I’ve just booked to go out for lunch and will continue to try and book nice things in this week to look forward to. I keep going back to the positive birth company mantra: ‘my baby will be born when my baby is ready’. ✌🏼

39+1 today (2nd baby - have a 3 year old and an angel baby). Feeling very fed up mentally and sore physically. Hardly getting any sleep as I just cannot get comfortable. I have PGP, sciatica and very sore piles! Getting on and off Braxton Hicks and having to go for approx 3 💩 per day that are easy to pass. I'm hoping for a home birth this time round
